A site with sustainable certification will be the new heated pool of Talca that is being built by the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), through the Regional Directorate of Architecture and now exceeds 18% of physical progress.
A meeting was held last week between different public services such as the Ministries of Public Works, Sports, Social Development, the Regional Directorate of Architecture, the National Sports Institute as well as future users of the semi-Olympic venue that will allow development of high competition.
The Regional Director of Architecture, Ervin Castillo Díaz, explained that this building will have a high-level heating system with boilers that will maintain the right temperature for sports.
The participation meeting was attended by, among others, the SEREMI del Deporte, Alejandra Ramos, and the IND Regional Director, Sofía Rengifo. “We will have a high-level venue that will come to support the athletes in need of this infrastructure,” said Alejandra Ramos.
The project under construction a pool of 25 by 18 meters, with 8 lanes, grandstand for 220 people, dressing rooms, engine room, access hall and green areas. “This infrastructure for sport will be of high quality with a modern system to temper water between 26 and 27 degrees. The works are progressing and have 14 months as a contractual execution period, ”concluded the SEROP of the MOP, Francisco Durán.
